Our Heritage and Hiking package includes entry into the Chatsworth Estate, one of the most impressive stately homes in the UK and home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Over 25 rooms can be explored, discovering fabulous works of art that span 4000 years, from Egyptian sculpture and Rembrandt masterpieces, to modern works from artists including Lucian Freud and David Nash. The stunning gardens are the product of nearly 500 years of careful cultivation, whilst the farmyard and woodland playground has been a firm family favourite for many years. Round off a visit full of history and heritage with a visit to its range of restaurants and shops – whether for a well earned coffee and slice of cake, or for a special souvenir from a special visit!

The Peak District is also one of the most popular locations in the UK to ramble or hike. We have three fabulous circular walks from the doorstep of the Millstone Inn. Chatsworth House & Gardens tickets per person (this attraction can be enjoyed on day of arrival OR departure. Tickets to be collected from the Millstone Reception upon check in). Chatsworth is just an 8 mile/19 min drive from the Millstone. Open 10am-4.30pm (house) 5.30pm (gardens). Transport is NOT provided
